In his opening speech and program management, Mr. Le Van Khanh – Deputy Head of the Department of Science, Technology and Cooperation, on behalf of the Organizing Committee (OC), warmly welcomed the presence of delegates, businesses and teachers of the school. Mr. Khanh emphasized that the event was organized based on Plan No. 163/KH-NSG dated October 2, 2025, with three core goals: Strengthening the connection between schools and businesses; Introducing the image and training capacity of NSG to partners; and creating a comprehensive network of connections and cooperation in a variety of industries. This is the reason and also the guideline for all activities taking place throughout the program.

The event was honored to welcome delegates and businesses to share and seek cooperation opportunities. On the side of Nam Sai Gon Polytechnic College, the school’s Board of Directors was fully present, including: Mr. Nguyen Tri Dung – Principal and Mr. Le Nguyen Thong Minh – Vice Principal along with leaders of Faculties, Departments, Centers and staff of the school .
Continuing the program, the representative of the school’s Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Tri Dung – Principal gave a profound welcome speech. The speech not only expressed sincere thanks to the business partners who have always accompanied NSG, but also affirmed the school’s commitment to constantly innovate training programs, closely following the practical needs of the labor market. The highlight of the 2025 Business Connection Day is the panel discussion report, providing academic and practical perspectives on one of the hottest issues in the current human resource market.
Report title: “Labor shift and the role of vocational training institutions and enterprises in the current situation”
Following the success of the 2024 Scientific Conference, which discussed trends in vocational education, NSG continues to delve into a topical topic: “labor transition”.
Ms. Dang Thi Thu Hien – Head of the Department of Science, Technology and Cooperation, presented a comprehensive and in-depth report. The report outlined an overview of the shift of the workforce not only between industries and regions in the country but also internationally. Ms. Hien clearly analyzed the crucial role of vocational training institutions such as NSG in being “one step ahead”, forecasting trends and adjusting training programs flexibly to equip students with new skills to meet the strict requirements of the market.

To focus the discussion, the Talkshow was conducted under the direction of Ms. Dang Thi Thu Hien. With the participation of 06 speakers representing leading businesses and school leaders, the discussion was extremely exciting.

Questions and practical issues about the gap between training and recruitment, soft skills requirements, professional attitudes of students, and support policies from businesses were dissected. This is an open forum where the school listens to the most “genuine” opinions from employers and vice versa, businesses also understand better about NSG’s innovation efforts. Many new solutions and cooperation ideas were born right at the discussion, promising to be materialized in the near future.
Spread love with the “Power to School” Scholarship
One of the most meaningful and touching moments of the Festival was the “Support to School” Scholarship Award Ceremony. Understanding and sympathizing with the difficulties of the students, Ms. Cathy Nguyen – CEO of Truely Wonder LLC – presented the school with 04 scholarships with a total value of 20 million VND, to support students with difficult circumstances but always strive to excel in their studies.

Close to open new journeys
After 3 hours of focused, serious and effective work, the 2025 Business Connection Day has come to an end. In his closing speech, MC Le Van Khanh summarized the main results achieved. The discussion provided valuable information about the current picture of training – labor – employment.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Khanh expressed his deep gratitude for the support of businesses and hospitals and affirmed the commitment of Nam Sai Gon Polytechnic College in the mission of providing high-quality labor resources to meet the increasingly strict requirements of the domestic and foreign labor markets.
The discussion ended, but the connection will continue. The delegates and teachers moved together to Bong Tram Restaurant to attend an intimate lunch, continue the exchange activities, and participate in the cultural program and lucky draw.
